Beginning Tarot I
A 7 class introduction to Tarot cards and interpretation. This class breaks the cards down step by step, building from the simplest techniques to the complexity of the Major Arcana. A comprehensive overview of Tarot history, important schools of thought, the influence of personalities and changes in design provide a a larger perspective.
Class size is 6 and class time is 2 hours allowing plenty of time for questions, discussion and exercises. $70 for the course.
Beginning Tarot II
A 5 class introduction to Tarot Spreads. Increased knowledge of Tarot spreads allows exploration of different questions, time frames and intentions. Class covers reading techniques, ethics, a variety of spreads and how to choose between them. As the group reads together, students learn from each other while developing distinctive styles.
Class size is 6 and class time is 2 hours allowing plenty of time for questions, discussions and exercises. $50 for the course.
All classes are taught in Maria's Carrboro home.
