The first Tarot cards appeared more than 500 years ago in Renaissance Italy. Since then mystics and scholars of all calibers have pondered their purpose, origin and meaning.
That is an awful lot of pondering to ponder. And this is the space where Maria Rowan does just that.
Maria lives in North Carolina with her husband, her preschool age daughter and their cats. When she isn’t pondering Tarot, she likes to watch the urban deer eat all the cherry tomatoes in the Summer and the sweetgums change color in the Fall.
